Established: Weds.06.2026 Legionanthem: l-waṭan l-akbar ============================= The Free Arabic Legion was born from a strategic alliance between Arab leaders and the occupiers, united by the goal of ending British and French colonial authority. Starting in 1941, the occupiers established training centers in Greece to mold volunteers—ranging from political exiles to former prisoners—into specialized military formations. These groups, most notably Sonderverband 287, were envisioned as a liberation force that would eventually return to the Middle East to secure independence.
