𝐈𝐍𝐅𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐄-𝐑𝐄𝐆𝐈𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 "𝐊𝐀𝐈𝐒𝐄𝐑" 𝐸𝓁𝒾𝓉𝑒 𝓈𝒽𝑜𝒸𝓀 𝓉𝓇𝑜𝑜𝓅 𝒾𝓃𝒻𝒶𝓃𝓉𝓇𝓎 Raised in the Electorate-Archbishopric of Trier in 1715, the regiment was initially under the patronage of the then Francis III, Duke of Lorraine and Bar. Upon his espousal to Archduchess Maria-Theresia of Austria in 1736, the regiment followed him in Austrian service taking up the name 'Kaiser', as it remained his personal regiment as Holy Roman Emperor of the German Nation. Renowned for discipline, valour and eternal loyalty to the Emperor, the regiment is comprised of men who would sacrifice their lives for the glory of the Empire. Fearlessly charging through the fiery blazes of cannon fire and smoke-filled musket volleys, the Emperor's Own were valiant individuals, rarely defeated; proving a strong barrier of defense for the army and the Imperial person.
