Königliche AllenburgArmee The Kingdom of Allenburg emerged from the Kingdom of Brandenburg in the late 17th century after Elector Jonas Shwatzenburg II. of Linenburg had been crowned king in Altenburg. It consisted of Brandenburg, which belonged to the Holy Roman Empire , and the eponymous Duchy of Prussia. The original Allenburg areas in the east of the kingdom were henceforth called East Altenberg.
