Description
The Rigger Depot The Rigger Depot is a clothing group dedicated to bringing period correct flight jackets and uniforms to the Roblox platform. The span of our uniforms is particularly focused around the Second World War and the Korean Conflict. In the real world, parachute riggers were responsible for maintenance of parachute equipment, with their close, technical work with the USAAF and NAVAIR, they were often tasked with hand-painting nose art for aircraft. Shortly into the Second World War, with the popularity of nose art on aircraft, backart on the standard issue bomber jackets quickly gained popularity. Once again, the skilled hands of the Parachute Riggers were called to aid their fellow airmen. Often done on squadron level, backart was widely varied within the same unit, although it usually kept the same basic principles. By the end of the Second World War, a large number of custom A2, G2, and B3 jackets were painted. Our goal is to recreate them.
