The Great Schism has taken effect, the Churches are split into two, the Pope of Rome and Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople have excommunicated one another. Meanwhile, in the sandy plains of Arabia and Egypt, the Fatimid Dynasty is in control of the IsIamic world, although they have problems of their own with their schism that took place some 400 years ago. Further east in Persia, the Shia Persian Buyid dynasty is being threatened by the rising Sunni Turkic Seljuqs. Who will you fight for? The choice is in your hands. In the Gospel of Mark 3:25, Christ states, "And if a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand."
