[> THE DUCHY OF RESTION <] "Deus protegit." - The Restion Motto The Duchy of Restion and it’s corresponding villages were a province formerly within the Greater Vance Empire. They located above the River Stio and the Golden Gate. It is Currently owned by the house of Balleselley. It’s current Duke is well known for his revolutionary crossbow strategies, and being relatively young. The Duchy is renowned for its Crossbowmen, Shieldbearers and later, Musketeers of the Restion Armies the former of which both of which were put to great effect during the Ten Years War against the Elven kingdoms during the early phases of the war. They have became well known due to their crossbows, muskets and shields, all forged with woods native to the Restion forests. Their territories include: - The EarIdom of Restionshire - The EarIdom of Yabon - The EarIdom of Torth - The EarIdom of Stonia - The Golden Gate - Northpost Citadel - Theogryms’ Citadel
