ππ¨π§π’π§π π«π’π£π€ ππππ₯ππ§π During the 1st Coalition, The French Republic invaded the Austrian Netherlands and the Dutch Republic, where France created sister republics such as the Batavian Republic and the Republic of Zeeland. The Republic of Zeeland saw action in 2nd Coalition against the Austrian/Prussian Army in Germany. In 1804 when Napoleon crowned himself Emperor, he made Zeeland a Kingdom and Zeeland supplied Napoleon a combined force of Infantry and National Guard. It saw action in Stralsund, Wagram and many other Battle's during the 3rd and 6th Coalitions. Finally, In 1811 Zeeland was annexed by France alongside Batavia and Oldenburg and was merged into the 128. Linien Infanterie-Regiment in the Grande ArmΓ©e. Sooner or Later, In 1813 Zeeland was liberated by the Prussian army in the Netherlands and soon joined the Coalition Side. It saw action in the Battle of Waterloo where it was formed into a Battalion in Wellington's Foreign Army. π Zeeland voor altijd!
