Settled in its home island province of Sadoshima, their remote location provides relative safety from the frangible state of affairs of the mainland. However, war can no longer be ignored, the situation of the mainland has deteriorated. Former allies have turned into ambitious neighbors who may seek Sadoshima itself. Peace will only be attained through war.
