ORIGINS OF MUTTSUME --------------------------------------------------------------------------- On the ancient times before the 'Kamakura Period', a mysterious cave was found and inside that cave were found ancient 6 eyed creatures. The finders of the creatures didn't know how to describe the creatures, but they knew that they must show the world, what really hid inside these caves. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- The creatures had no other name originated than just "Muttsu no me no ikimono", and that is since no one could name it other than just describing the 6 eyes they had on. With that known, the group of the people who found the caves were a nameless family, but when they found the creatures, with the 6 eyes, they decided that they don't need to be nameless no more. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- After quite a time, the family who found it, chose to name themselves "Muttsume".
