Description
Synopsis: What is commonly referred to as the northern crownlands were a collection of duchies, counties, and baronies in the northern region of the Kingdom of Bohemia. They weren't part of Bohemia proper, only tied with the rest of the kingdom because the King vassalized or owned the territory within them. So when the Bohemians revolted in 1618, the northern crownlands decided to sit on the side and support the rebellion rather than rebel themselves. The effort at trying to avoid destruction caused Lusatia to be conquered by Saxony after the Peace of Prague was signed in 1635.
