Description
By 1813, the Spanish Army closely worked with the Anglo-Portuguese Army with up to 1 out of 3 Spanish soldiers serving under the Duke of Wellington. In 1813, the French are on the backfoot with the Duke of Wellington's Anglo-Spanish-Portuguese army defeating the French at Vitoria. After Vitoria the allied army marches for the Pyrenees where the Spanish Army of Galicia defeats the French at Tolosa. Following Tolosa the French forces under Marshal Soult launched a failed large-scale offensive across the Pyrenees in an attempt to halt the allied advance. By early 1814 the allied forces take Toulouse in Southern France.
