Description
Military Assistance Command, Vietnam - Studies and Observations Group "𝐎𝐥𝐝 𝐁𝐥𝐮𝐞" Back in '64 the CIA have up control of Covert Operations in South East Asia. Handed it over to the US military. From that MACV-SOG was born. Established on January 24th, 1964 the Military Assistance Command, Vietnam's Studies and Observations Group, colloquially referred to ## ###### was responsible for carrying out deep reconnaissance, damage assessment, prisoner snatches, PoW recovery, and covert action in VC Strongholds in South Vietnam and across the border in supposedly neutral Laos and Cambodia.
