The crusaders army that settled here was that of Bohemond of Taranto, who would be named as Bohemond I of Antioch. The Normans ruled Antioch until other Frenchmen would have turn at ruling alongside other Normans. With some western Europeans (called Frankish) settling in the land as well as good relations with the local Syrians, neighboring Armenia, and others the Principality would last until 1268. It is the start of the 13th century. After a period of civil war Antioch is once again united and looks outward to the wider world!
