Description
You must have at least one family member on the coral sea or one of its class ships. the USS CORAL-SEA was the worlds fastest smallest and most maneuverable carriers out there and still would have been today. the ship was launched in 1946 she set sail to the seven seas as a straight deck WWII ship. as years went by instead of decommissioning her we mothballed her then she came out with a brand new flight with and angled runway deck/14 5"/54 guns. nickname was ageless warrior. this all took a turn to its worst when a container ship hit the stern pushing it 20 DG to the right leaving damage that could not be fixed she went on 2 different deployment's before being decommissioned on October 1st 1990 she was retired she will always be remembered as the ship that saved the world in 1986.
