"Soon?" I inquired. "Soon." The guardians responded. Under the orange Lykourgus sky, I sharpened my blade and lightly washed it clean. It would soon be Ialage, the time when we would attack the flora destroyers. Eadepal. "What if they're too powerful? They've cut down nearly all of our trees." I enquired of the other guardians. "I doubt they'll be that powerful," Sarpedin joked. "We've got our wits about us." "As well as cages." Lykourgus mumbled. "What if the cages are aren't strong enough?" My thoughts began to race. "What if they break out right away? What if they injure one of us so severely that we die? What if..." Sarpedin patted my shoulder gently. "Don't worry, we'll be ready." I took a few deep breaths and tried to relax. Lykourgus triumphantly waved their claws in the air. "We are the Guardians of this planet! And we never surrender!" "Never surrender!" Sarpedin cried. "Never surrender..."
