Criminal Investigation Department / Jabatan Siasatan Jenayah / 刑侦科 / अपराधशील खोज विभाग The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) is a specialist staff department under the purview of the Singapore Police Force. It is the premier investigation agency and staff authority for criminal investigation matters within the Police. CID is tasked with conducting investigations into serious offences, as well as into organized crime and secret societies. The CID is made up of two distinct divisions: Major Crime Division and Specialised Crime Division.
