SVENSKA STORMAKTENS ARMÉ "𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐎𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐍𝐒" Following Austrian and French efforts to incorporate Sweden into the anti-Prussian alliance, Sweden started military activities against Prussia in 1757. Politicians in Sweden believed that the alliance would bring about a swift victory so that they wouldn't have to get too involved in the combat but that Sweden would still be rewarded for their assistance. Hence, the main goal of Swedish military activity was to convince the allies that Sweden was a party to the conflict. Even though the battle was of low intensity, the war was still very expensive. The war was financed mostly by internal borrowing by the Swedish government, which had detrimental economic and political repercussions like inflation and public unrest. 𝙂𝙪𝙙 𝙗𝙚𝙫𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙆𝙪𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙣!
