Description
INFANTRY REGIMENT The Copenhagen Infantry Regiment, raised in 1808 with personnel from three disbanded Marine battalions. They had also been issued with colors bearing the royal cypher of the King of Denmark-Norway Frederick VI. They were experienced and battle hardened fighters, being sent to fight whenever and wherever possible.
