Description

The Adjutant General's Service was established in September 2024 under the direction of the Commanding General. This service oversees the technical aspects of the General High Command and manages the shared logistics of major Army divisions and commands. The AFP Adjutant General Services (AAGS) serves as a Special Staff unit directly reporting to the Commander in Chief. Its primary function is to ensure the effective execution and implementation of its assigned duties, tasks, and requirements. As a Special Staff, AAGS acts as a crucial support system for the Commander, facilitating the administration of military personnel from their enlistment to their discharge, and even beyond. OTAG plays a vital role in maintaining and updating the records that are essential for the smooth operation of the Filipino Army, both now and in the future.
