Description

Glenndon started out as a Horse drawn carriage way between the towns of Rollensworth and Rombly in 1837, In early 1866, the line was relayed in 2 foot to also serve a mine, the first narrow gauge engine arrived in 1867. The line was expanded to the town of Glenndon during WWII, in which the town and the founders son Sir Glenndon II, played a big role in the area, during that time the railway took a new official name and the rest is history. The Railway game as it sits now is set in the mid 1930s in the height of the railways life. Following WWII and the sudden decline in business in the area after WWII and the Iron stone mine closures, the railway closed soon after in the fall of 1949. Glenndon Narrow Gauge Railway runs from the Ironstone mines and serves three towns, Glenndon, Rombly, and Rollensworth as well as their businesses respectively. With connections to the LMS via a transfer yard where goods and ore come and go.

4 measurements spanning 13 days, net +1. Dots are measurements; the straight line between them is drawn to join them, not to claim we know the path taken in between — snapshots are recorded only when a count changes, so gaps mean “no change observed”, never “interpolated”. The vertical axis spans 274–275 and does not start at zero.
