The Galactic Marines The Nova Corps. or more commonly known as the Galactic Marines, was an elite formation of specialized troopers wearing unique armor and capable of operating in any environment. They were commanded by Bacara, one of the most hardcore commanders of the Clone Army, who would pass his behavior onto his men, making them extremely aggressive. The Marines were cross-trained to fight in a variety of environments in ground and space, making them extremely versatile. They specialized in boarding and capturing enemy starships as well as planetary assault Bacara demanded the absolute best of his men, and would tolerate nothing less, unilaterally reassigning marines who did not meet his high standards. The training the Marines went through made them one of the most elite units in the Republic.
