After the invasion of Spain by Napoleon Bonaparte and the placement of a new king, the overseas colonies erupted into chaos and insurrection. Among them, Mexico began its war of independence in 1810 with MigueI's "Cry of Dolores". After Miguel's defeat and execution along some of his generals, José María Morelos continued the struggle and declared Mexico's independence in 1813 under the Chilpalcingo. However his movement was crushed and was captured and executed, the General Vicente continued the struggle under the proclaimed "Three guarantees" those being Independence, Religion and Union, under that thought the Former Royalist Colonel Iturbide decided to meet Vicente and happeing the "Hug of Acapempan" between Vicente and Iturbide, the Army of the Three guarantees marched in Mexico City! "¡Religión, Independencia y Unión!"
