𝗔𝗥𝗠𝗘𝗘 𝗗'𝗘𝗟𝗕𝗘 "𝙑𝙖𝙡𝙚𝙪𝙧 𝙚𝙩 𝘿𝙞𝙨𝙘𝙞𝙥𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚" EST. 07/15/2023 𝗦𝗬𝗡𝗢𝗣𝗦𝗜𝗦: The Army of Elba was initially made up of around 800 members of the Imperial Guard accompanying Napoleon into his exile in 1814; most being infantry, but notably around 100 Polish chevaulegers also joined the Emperor. His command staff also came from France; Cambronne would lead the army under Drout's supervision. Later on, a free battalion of 300 Grenadiers from Elba were raised, alongside a unit of Corsican skirmishers. A militia was also formed on the island, alongside the gendarmerie for keeping the peace.
