Description
HMS Belfast's Seaman Branch; the Unofficial Faction. The Royal Navy is the naval fighting force of the United Kingdom. Its sailors stand watch across the world's oceans to defend Britain, protect its people, and ensure that the nation's trade and communications can continue without interference. From the stormy waters of the North Atlantic to distant stations across the globe, the Royal Navy serves as Britain's first line of defense at sea. As a part of His Majesty's Naval Service, the Royal Navy carries a proud tradition stretching back centuries. The men who wear the King's uniform come from every corner of the United Kingdom and serve aboard battleships, cruisers, destroyers, submarines, and countless other vessels. Whether standing watch on the bridge, maintaining machinery deep below deck, plotting courses in the chart room, or manning a gun during battle, every sailor plays a part in keeping the fleet at sea.
