𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓 𝐁𝐀𝐓𝐓𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆'𝐒 𝐆𝐄𝐑𝐌𝐀𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝕱𝖚𝖗 𝖉𝖊𝖓 𝕶𝖔𝖓𝖎𝖌! Founded by Major Colin Halkett, the Second Light Battalion would be the result of the overflow of Rifle recruits into the Kings German Regiment. The Second Light Battalion would serve in every campaign that the British Army would be involved in, and would make their names by their heroic actions in the Battles of Venta Del Pozo in the Peninsula, and the defence of La Haye Sainte at the Battle of Waterloo. These German riflemen are comparable to the prowess of the renowned 95th Rifles, and their Rifle counterparts on the continent.
