"From Salt to Sand!" 𝚲 Amphibious Forces The Epibatae branch of the Nautikon is Sparta's dedicated amphibious shock troop, tasked with protecting the crews of Sparta's fleets and performing amphibious assaults against terrestrial objectives as well as boarding and engaging in top-of-the-deck fighting aboard enemy ships in close quarters combat. In other words, they are Spartan Marines. Epibatae are hand-picked by experienced Marine officers put through long and rigorous training. After they have been thoroughly taught and trained, they will acquire full member-ship as Epibatai, or Marine. At this point in their career, they are essentially specialists whom can serve solely as combatants, or as junior officers and supervisors, or fulfill crew jobs such as helming or providing look-out. ₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪ In order to join the Spartan Marines, you must firstly enlist in the Spartan Navy; the Nautikon.
