Description
The Latin Patriarchate of Czonia was formed early in the 10th century under orders from the Holy See, as many of the early settlers established monasteries in the woodlands. With assistance from the church, the Patriarchate came to establish itself as the Czonian rite. During the February 9th Revolution of 1922, the church was attacked by political extremists, with priests and laity becoming martyrs in the conflict.
