Info - The Scaleguard is the elite household division of House Reed—sworn protectors of Lord Howland Reed, Lady Jyana Reed, and their family. Their name evokes both the swampy terrain they call home and the steadfast protection they offer: just as reeds shield the Neck's marshes, so do the Scaleguard shield its rulers. Role & Duties - Unlike standard guards, the Scaleguard are superior swordsman, amongst the top-fraggers upon the field. Their primary charge is the safety of Lord and Lady Reed, but they also serve as a rapid-response force for the family: escorting envoys through the Capital or Outside lands, defending Greywater Watch, and rallying to repel surprise assaults.
