Description
Úlfhéðnar 'We are sacrifice, loss, and pain. We are the wolf-skinned, that no blade nor fire can defeat. We are the anger born of strongest love. We are the Úlfhéðnar, who fight for our king until the day of the last battle.' The Úlfhéðnar's are sworn to Ragnar Loðbrók. The Úlfhéðnar wear wolf skins, and their own skin is black-dyed. These howling psychopaths are so wolf-like in behaviour and ferocity that they influenced European werewolf folklore. "Odin's men went without their mailcoats and were mad as hounds or wolves, bit their shields...they slew men, but neither fire nor iron had effect upon them." Worships: Tyr - The God of War, also seen as Odin's Warriors.
