Halls of The Drowned God #13084800
Description
"What is dead may never die." ───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── The Drowned God, also known as He Who Dwells Beneath the Waves, is the patron deity of The Iron Islands. The religion predates the coming of the Andals, and all of the attempts made by the Andals to supplant it with the Seven failed. The Drowned God is a sea deity, who made the ironborn in his own image to make their names known in fire, blood and song. In the eyes of He Who Dwells Beneath the Waves acts such as murder and looting are pious. Some in the North believe the Drowned God to be one of the Old Gods. The ironborn believe that upon death, should their bodies be plunged into the sea, they may join the Drowned God in his watery halls. ───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── PARISH: The Iron Islands ENCLAVE: Old Wyk MILITANTS: The Drowned Men
