Description
(group's inactive for now, changes in organization) The 17e Régiment d'Infanterie Legere was a French military unit famous for defending the ###### #### during the Battle of Austerlitz in 1805. Under the command of General Suchet, the 17th Legere, hiding under trenches dug before the battle, held back Bagration's Advance Guard and buying time for the rest of Marshal Lannes' V Corps to push back the rest of Bagration's Russian army. The 17th Legere specializes in skirmishing tactics and slowing down enemy advance through constant long-range musket fire, but can still perform the tasks of regular Line Infantry when required. This group initially starts off as a Waterloo At Home group, but aims to become an official Waterloo military group. At this time, anyone can join and are immediately enlisted as rankers. Anyone can lead their own patrols in battles or sessions, and those who outshine the rest or are popular in the group will be given official command authority in the future.
