Description
The shadow of the 20th century Cold War lingers on well into the 22nd. Great powers have slipped the bonds of Earth to touch the stars in a mad scramble for new territories, raw materials, ancient alien technology, and scientific breakthroughs. Referred to as The Middle Heavens, the final frontier of space is deadlocked in a perpetual three-way struggle between the ideologies of American democracy, ungoverned corporate expansion, and communist liberation. In the backdrop of this conflict is an existential alien threat which endangers all parties involved; a species of genetically-perfected killing machines known as the Xenomorphs. The Middle Heavens is a closed-genre ALIENS community focused on an isolated section of this conflict on the planet Edrosa.
