It originated from the title Count palatine of the Lateran Palace, which The Holy Roman Emperor, Charles IV bestowed upon a nobleman. The honor of joining this chivalric order was awarded for special services and remarkable actions that benefitted the Holy Roman Empire and Its Emperor. The Knights of the Golden Spur were allowed to wear gilded or gold-plated armor and golden spurs. ◙▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬◙ To become a member of the order, you must receive an invitation from the Holy Roman Emperor or from the Knight Marshal. ₪▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬๑۩๑▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬₪
