Description
The Royal Household Guard Corps is the most well trained and disciplined tier of the Royal Burma Army. Known for the fiercely loyal attitudes, they are only kept in small numbers and serves directly to the King only. The Royal Household Guard consists of the main Mandalay Palace Guard Regiment and the King's Personal: Royal Bloodsworn Guard Regiment. While the Mandalay Palace Guards are tasked with guarding royal structures and royal family members, the King's personal protection are under the Royal Thwei-thauks (သွေးသောက်) or Bloodsworn Guards, who were sworn under a blood oath, hence their name. . They are one of the most skilled and loyal soldiers in the kingdom, only recruited after a blood Oath. They're dedicated to guard the king with their life.
