Schäfer & Co. #13103318
Description
Estd. 1954 “Eine verlorene Liebe zur deutschen Küche.” After the First World War, and even more so after the second, Germans were often ostracized in the U.S. Even in cities such as Philadelphia, New York City, and Baltimore, where their populations were large, they repressed their cultures out of fear. As time has passed, German culture has started to reappear across the the country. From language to food, we have proved that our culture is just as beautiful as any other. Starting with a factory worker called Günter in the 1950s, the company was established near Philadelphia to provide the American people with traditional German cuisine. From more popular dishes such as Bratwurst and Sauerkraut to more familiar items, such as the soft pretzel, the family and their associates have made it a mission to share it all. Serving the lost traditional food, once again and forevermore. All are welcome. [Looking for developers]
