𝑷𝒆𝒛𝒉𝒆𝒕𝒂𝒊𝒓𝒐𝒊 "𝑭𝒐𝒐𝒕 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔" The Pezhetairoi, or "Foot Companions," are the phalanx center and the Macedonian army's backbone. For a father to give his helmet and shield to his son is the most incredible honor a father may bestow on his kin. From one generation to the next, a father's legacy and exploits are now his sons'.
