Badger Squadron, Royal Tank Regiment #13145007
Description
Badger Squadron, The Royal Tank Regiment Circa 2018 Please Note: This group is the original group that was bought off Whallapor. BADGER is named after the Commanding Officer’s Mark IV Tank of B Battalion the Tank Corps in 1917. It is this that brought about the 2nd Royal Tank Regiment convention of naming Squadrons after the OC’s vehicle. This tradition has continued and is sustained to this day. The Royal Tank Regiment (RTR) is the oldest tank unit in the world, being formed by the British Army in 1916 during the First World War. Today, it is the armoured regiment of the British Army's 1st Armoured Infantry Brigade. Formerly known as the Tank Corps and the Royal Tank Corps, it is part of the Royal Armoured Corps.
