The Osean Defense Forces (or Osean Defense Force) are the collective military forces of the Osean Federation. It is considered to be the largest military in the world. Prior to the ODF's formation, the Osean Federation maintained conventional armed forces, consisting of at least the Osean Army, Osean Navy, and Osean Air Force. The Osean Navy is known to have been formed around the 16th century. The Osean military's earliest known deployment was in the Osean War, during which the Osean military used aircraft for the first time. On October 8, 1990, the Osean Federation announced the Rearmament Declaration of 1990, which reorganized the Osean military into the modern Osean Defense Forces. This resulted in major shifting of personnel and resources throughout each branch; in one example, ###### ################## a member of the Osean Army—joined the Osean Air Force's Sorcerer Squadron. The ODF became the guardians of Osea, protecting its borders from any hostile actions.
