Cohortes Urbanae ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ La Cohortes Urbanae fue creada por Augusto para contrarrestar el enorme poder de la Guardia Pretoriana en la ciudad de Roma y servir como fuerza policial. Fueron dirigidos por el prefecto urbano. Su función principal es vigilar Roma y contrarrestar a los barbaros y pandillas errantes que tan a menudo rondan sus calles durante la República.
