3rd Regiment of Foot Guards "En Ferus Hostis" ♔▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬♚▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬♔ The 3rd Regiment of Foot Guards or Scots Guard was raised during the Civil War, but until the Act of Union between England and Scotland (1707) it was part of the Scottish establishment. In an effort to speed up the pursuit in North Carolina, Lord Cornwallis destroyed his own supply wagons, which is left behind would have fallen into enemy hands. But he failed to catch up and fell back on Guildford Courthouse. His force.
