.Clothing .Remembering Winter the dolphin .Games, soon to come .Events .Giveaways This group was built in honor of Winter the Dolphin, who was caught in a crab trap on Dec 10, 2005. Clearwater marine aquarium rescued her but had to remove her tail. Nobody thought she would survive, but this "mild inconvenience" didn't stop Winter. She started swimming by turning her tail side to side. However, the marine biologists thought this would hurt her spine, so two prosthetic experts made her a fake tail. She inspired so many people but died of twisted intestines on November 11, 2021. We love and miss you, Winter <3
