Nicholas von Linstow-Bellins Røde Fodregiment #13221875
Description
One of the Red Regiments of Foot, was created in 1625 and was led by Nikolaus von Linstow-Bellin and Lieutenant Colonel Christoph Termoe. It was 12 companies strong and consisted entirely of men from Holstein. In addition to the regular infantry, it is noted that the Red regiment was given artillery cannons from the Forts in South Jutland; the crew of these guns also came from Jutland.
