Qajar Empire « Dawlat-i-Alíy-i-Írán » 🌿Zendeh Baad Iran!🌿 Dawlat-i-Alíy-i-Írán Is a group depicting Persia (Iran) in the late victorian era. During this time, we are surrounded by nations that threaten Iranian sovereignty. So what are you waiting for? Enlist now and join the ranks of the Persian Empire, and expel every invader! ⚔️ Nizām-i Jadid - Šâhzāde Ab bas Mir za's hard work for reforms in the early 1800s resulted in a total of 20,000 troops trained along European lines with 9,000 of these serving as the Šāhanšāh's personal guards. The remaining 11,000 troops were to form the core of Persian army's forces in the wars against Russia. All of these new units known as the "Nizām-i Jadid" (lit. the new military/order) were issued with consistent uniforms, fought in the methodical and disciplined style of European units and featured distinct rank and status designations based on merit, rather than family lineage. The Nizām-i Jadid would exist until the coup in 1921.
