Description
Extremadura is a western Spanish region that borders Portugal and is composed of two provinces. It is crossed by mountains, forests, lakes, and reserves where all kinds of wild birds can be observed. The capital of the community is Mérida, famous for the Roman ruins of the colony Augusta Emerita, featuring aqueducts, theaters, a circus, and a bridge over the Guadiana River.
