Description
A superhuman race of humanoids, hailing from a different universe in a different point in time. They were primitive but technologically advanced, using technology that others could hardly fathom in their countless tribal clashes. Then came the Combine. An idea, emerging from the depths of time and space, planting itself in the minds of several Overseers. The Combine "spoke" to them, saying it was the destiny of the Overseers to command and lead the idea of Galactic Unity, to have it reach every corner of the universe and others, for the greater good of all sentient life. The Overseers, convinced, united together under this new idea, and founded what would become the Combine Empire. Their superhuman combat prowess easily netted them millions of worlds, filled with beings of all kinds. The Overseers used their superior diplomatic skills to convince many worlds to turn their efforts towards the Combine Empire, while those who resisted were utterly annihilated.
