Description
𝐇𝐈𝐄𝐑𝐎𝐒 𝐋𝐎𝐊𝐇𝐎𝐈 The Sacred Band, or "Heiros Lokhoi," is a troop of picked hoplitai, consisting of 150 pairs of elite soldiers which formed the elite force of the Theban army. The Sacred Band selected hoplitai regardless of social status, selected only off merit, and the state-funded us. The Sacred Band is invincible and would rather die than be defeated. No one can compare to these legendary warriors. To join the ranks of Sacred Band, a hoplitai must be drafted and approved by the citizen's Assembly.
