Description

INFORMATION: The Grenztruppen, also known as the border guards in english were the primary force focused on guarding the berlin wall and the inner german border. It belonged to the Ministry of National Defence in the year of 1961 and it was also a service branch of the Nationale Volksarmee (National People’s Army) until 1971 when it became a subordinate to the MfNV (Ministry of National Defence). The Grenztruppen had approximately 47,000 individuals working for them, with volunteers and conscripts. The grenztruppen also focuses on handling the booths as admission inside of the border. To join, you will need to pass a Grenztruppen tryout. Feldwebel+
