Description
Ríоcht na Éireann « Kingdom of Ireland » is an alternate history group depicting Ireland after the successful 1798 Irish Rebellion. God Save Ireland! ☘️ Freedom Or Death! ☘️ Forever! In 1798, the United Irishmen, with the aid of the French Republic, began a revolt against the Kingdom of Great Britain. The United Irishmen intended to form an Irish Republic, however, the French government suggested another option- an independent Irish Kingdom ruled by the Stuart pretender to the throne. The Kingdom of Ireland would become a valuable ally to the French Republic and later French Empire, aiding the French in waging war on the United Kingdom during the Napoleonic Wars.
