Description
Revolutionary Serbia (1804–1815) was a crucial era of uprisings against the Ottoman Empire. The First Uprising, led by Karađorđe, established a de facto independent state but was later suppressed. The Second Uprising, led by Miloš Obrenović, used both arms and diplomacy to secure autonomy. These events marked the beginning of modern Serbian statehood and the struggle for full independence.
