𝐆𝐀𝐑𝐃𝐄 𝐊𝐎𝐑𝐏𝐒 𝘌𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘦 𝘐𝘯𝘧𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘺 𝘙𝘦𝘨𝘪𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴 The Garde Korps was an elite force of soldiers apart of The Guard which closely resembled Napoleon’s Imperial Guard, although it was smaller in number, and it was meant to provide a solid core of loyal troops. Garde Korps was usually thrown into the battle to commit to major break thoughts, rather than a reserve that was held back. During the Battle of Olper in 1809, Garde Korps troops managed to hold off repeated attacks from the Brunswicker defectors.
